Bouverie Place was completed in 2007 and comprises of approximately 26,500 sq m of retail and food offerings and a 570 space multi-storey car park. The centre is anchored by a 7,990 sq m Asda superstore with other key national retailers including Next, New Look, Primark, TK Maxx, Vodafone, Deichmann, Starbucks and Specsavers.

Due to the schemes high vantage point, there are excellent views of the Kent coastline and an impressive travellator that links ASDA and the multi-story car park that showcases the white cliffs of Dover in all its glory.

In recent years there has been significant investment in the foreshore and the old town which has resulted in an influx of a trendy art community that sprawls the cobblestone streets with independent cafes, bookstores, bars and galleries.

Back in 2014 the anonymous England-based graffiti artist Banksy created a piece of work in the town centre and it still remains the centrepiece of the annual triennial arts festival.

The town is within easy reach of the mainline rail station (Folkestone Central) where there are regular services to London St. Pancreas via Ashford in as little as 55 minutes. By car, it sits close to the M20 which provides access to the Channel Tunnel, Ashford, Maidstone, London and the M25.
