Olympic Picnic With Strutt and Parker

Posted by Mark Robinson on 14th Aug 2012

Fueled by the Olympic spirit, lobster and a not inconsiderable amount of rose, guests at Strutt and Parker’s annual picnic staged an impromptu javelin competition.

The slightly eccentric, in an opening ceremony kind of way, event is hosted on a hill overlooking Goodwood racecourse. There was a surfeit of umbrellas due to the mixed weather that we put to even better use once it had stoppered raining.

Sovereign Land’s Chris Gieves is pictured, putting his Fat(ima) frame into launching a red dart skywards.

Many thanks to Mike Rowlands and the team for a great day out.
