Falkirk has a resident population of over 35,000 people and sits at the junction of the Forth and Clyde and Union Canals where the works first and only rotating boat lift 'The Falkirk Wheel' is located.

The Howgate Centre is the dominant scheme in Falkirk, comprising 48 retail units, the majority of which cover ground and basement levels, in addition to a three-storey car park totalling over 500 spaces. The scheme is anchored by Debenhams, Watt Bros & New Look with other national retails including River Island, JD Sports, Poundland, Superdrug and Wilkinson's.

Falkirk lies in the heart of Scotland's central region, between Glasgow & Edinburgh. As the largest town in central Scotland, Falkirk has unrivalled transport networks, with excellent motorway and rail links and an international airport nearby.

Falkirk has direct access to the M9 motorway, which provides the main link between Edinburgh & Stirling. It is also linked to Glasgow by the M73 motorway. The town also benefits from two railway stations linking Falkirk to Edinburgh, Glasgow & Dunblane.
