Ellandi continues to expand its portfolio in Northern Ireland.
Ellandi has been appointed by receivers Andrew Dolliver and Luke Charleton of EY as Asset Managers for The Richmond Centre in Derry / Londonderry. The shopping centre on Ferry Quay Street joins Ellandi’s portfolio to become its fourth asset management mandate in Northern Ireland, alongside Bloomfield Shopping Centre in Bangor, Erneside Shopping Centre in Enniskillen and Omagh Showgrounds Retail Park.
Richard Hutchinson, Director, Asset Management in NI said: “There’s a lot of potential at The Richmond Centre and we’re delighted to be partnering with EY to realise this. We also see further growth in NI and expansion of the Ellandi platform into ROI as an exciting proposition that we are currently exploring.”
David Cohen, Director, Investment, commented: “Ellandi has a long tradition of working with receivers and lenders and this is an area of the business that has significantly grown over the past 24 months. We believe that we can utilise the skills we’ve acquired from over 20 workout instructions, to implement a successful recovery for The Richmond Centre.”
The appointment of receivers over Richmond Shopping Centre took place in June. The shopping centre continues to trade in compliance with Government COVID regulations on a business as usual basis and the property managers (Lisney) of the Shopping Centre remain in place fulfilling their existing role.
