The Broadway Shopping Centre is the dominant retail and leisure scheme in the heart of Bradford City Centre, West Yorkshire. The scheme comprises circa 570,000 sq ft of retail and leisure units within a covered shopping centre. The Broadway in Bradford was the largest shopping centre development to open in the UK in 2015, which redefined the prime retail core within the city. A further extension was completed in 2017 including a six-screen, 400-seat cinema and five restaurants which added 35,000 sq ft to the development.

The centre benefits from close proximity to two train stations within easy walking distance, Bradford Forster Square is approximately 5 minutes’ walk and Bradford Interchange is approximately 10 minutes’ walk. The multi storey car park above the centre provides 1,300 car parking spaces. The Broadway is anchored by M&S, Next, H&M, River Island, JD Sports and Boots, as well as The Light Cinema, five restaurants and a thriving Food Court.  A new Primark anchor store is coming soon to the Broadway, following their planned relocation from their existing store in nearby Kirkgate Centre, which is due to be demolished as part of regeneration plans to transform the city centre, and allow for expansion of the "City Village" - a scheme including 1000 homes and the creation of green space.  This will focus and concentrate the prime retail and leisure offer in Bradford into the Broadway.

Bradford is the 4th largest metropolitan authority in England with a growing population of 542,000. The city and is home to over 16,000 businesses employing around 250,000 people across the UK. Bradford is also the world’s first UNESCO City of Film, as well as a centre of Victorian heritage and the curry Capital of Britain. This culturally diverse city has been awarded City of Culture 2025, bringing investment and opportunity to the Bradford.
